2019 Group Award Winners

On the 10th November 2019, our Scout Group took part in the annual Ramsgate Remembrance Parade. A huge well done to everyone that took part, there was an excellent attendance and 120 members of our Scout Group attended!

This weekend, our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders took part in a sponsored beach clean along Pegwell Bay, followed by a picnic and sleepout at the Scout hut. Well done to everyone that took part, the money raised will go towards Porchlight, the homelessness charity!

Last weekend, two teams from our Scout Troop took part in the annual District ADUTT Camping and Cooking Competitions. Well done to everyone that took part. One of our teams was placed 2nd Place in the Cooking Competition.

Yesterday, our Group took part in the annual Ramsgate Carnival. The theme for this year’s float celebrated our 110th anniversary since our Scout Group was founded. We were delighted to be awarded 1st place for our float. Well done to everyone that took part!

Last weekend, our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts took part in a District camp called “Big Night Out 2”, which takes place every four years. There were a wide variety of exciting activities on offer for the children to take part in. Well done to everyone that took part from 1st St Lawrence Scout Group!
