A massive congratulations to both Scout teams that took part in the District First Aid & Pioneering Competition today, you all did very well. We came 1st place in the Pioneering (Team A), 2nd place in the Pioneering (Team B) and 2nd place in the First Aid (Team A).
A huge congratulations to Denis Dickinson who got presented with his Award for Merit today. Denis has been a leader with our Spitfire Cub Pack for many years and is now a member of Scout Active Support.
Earlier this month, both of our Cub Packs joined forces for an exciting and adventurous Cub camp at Ross Wood Scout Campsite. The Cubs got the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of activities and also experience the great outdoors.
A huge congratulations to Darcey Holmes, for gaining her Queen’s Scout Award, the highest award in Scouting. Darcey attended the National Scout Service and Parade at Windsor Castle today to celebrate her achievements!
Well done and thank you to everyone from our Scout Group that took part in today’s St George’s Day Parade and Celebration, you all looked very smart!
Yesterday, we held our Group Grounds Clean Up at our Scout hut to try and clear up our grounds for our summer Scouting events which will be taking place over the next few months. A huge thank you to everyone who helped out, you all made a great difference.
