Well done to everyone who took part in our Group Sponsored Bike Ride today. The funds raised will go towards our Scout Group!

Many congratulations to our Scouts that came 2nd place in the District Swimming Gala, and also well done to all our Cubs that took part too! All of your determination and teamwork resulted in a well deserved victory!

Last night, Skip (Jacky Rampall) was presented with a Thanet Volunteer of the Year Award 2018. Skip has been Scouting for over 40 years and this award reflects her dedication and commitment in running our Scout Group as the Group Scout Leader, many congratulations!

Well done to the two teams from Spitfire Cub Pack and the team from Mosquito Cub Pack that took part in the District Cub Fizz & Quiz and a huge congratulations to Oliver Norton, Gracie Dennis Bennett and Thomas Wakefield for coming 2nd place overall!

Yesterday, we held our Group Christingle celebration in aid of The Children’s Society. Our Group Scout Leader, Jacky Rampall said:

“Thank you to everyone who came to our Christingle celebration. It was a lovely occasion. A special thank you to Michelle, Gracie, Lizzy, Mia and the Cheasleys who all helped with the refreshments and to Marcie for leading the service.”

Yesterday, our Spitfire Cubs got given a talk about St Andrew’s Day by our resident Scotsman Louie (Jim) and they also had the opportunity to try haggis and oatcakes.
