What a fantastic turnout at our Group Annual General Meeting 2017 & 1st St Lawrence’s Got Talent this evening and a huge well done to everyone for another successful Scouting year!
This morning, 98 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from our Scout Group took part in the Annual Ramsgate Remembrance Parade 2017. Well done to everyone who took part!

We are pleased to announce that 1st St Lawrence Scout Group has been SHORTLISTED for the Thanet Heart of the Community Award. If we win this award then we will receive a share of £13,000 to support our Scout Group. What we require is as many of you to buy the local Isle of Thanet Gazette newspaper on Friday 10th November 2017 and collect as many tokens which includes the unique code for our Group. Instructions of how to vote will be explained in the newspaper. The more votes we get, the higher the chance we have of winning. This is a huge opportunity for us so please do support us in voting!
This weekend, our Delamere Beavers had a sleepover and in addition to this, our Scouts had a hike and a rough sleep out in aid of the homelessness charity Porchlight. Well done to everyone who took part in this event!
On Saturday 7th October, Skip, 2012, Chief and Porridge attended the Kent Scouts AGM and County Awards Presentation. We are delighted that 1st St Lawrence Scout Group has become the runner up in the Kent Scouts County Media Award. This award is awarded to the best media presence in Kent.
