Last week, between the 29th July and 5th August, our Scouts took part in the Kent International Jamboree 2017 which is a week long International camp held every four years. KIJ 2017 took place at the Kent County Showground in Detling and it welcomed over 6500 Scouts and Guides from around the world. Our Scouts were based on the Arabia subcamp and they were greeted with a huge variety of activities including climbing, microlighting, 4×4 driving, powerboating and archery to name a few. The Scouts also learnt many new skills as well as make new friends from all across the globe. We look forward to taking part in KIJ 2021!
