Yesterday, our Scout group took part in the Ramsgate Carnival 2017. This year’s theme for our float was “countries from around the world”. Well done to everyone in our group that took part!
On the 8th July 2017, our Scouts took part in the Thanet Sainsbury’s Fun Day. This event gave our Scouts the opportunity to prepare for the Kent International Jamboree 2017 which will take place later this month, as well as reveal our Arabian themed gateway to the general public. The event was also supported by other charities including other Scout groups and the local cadets. In addition to this, on the 9th July 2017, our Scouts took part in bag packing at Sainsbury’s and we raised £295 in total. Thank you to everyone who helped out at this weekend!

What a fantastic turn out at our Group Sponsored Bike Ride today. Well done to everyone who took part!
Our Group Sponsored Bike Ride 2017 will take place on Sunday 4th June 2017. Those who wish to take part should meet at the Scout hut at 1:00pm to check in before cycling off to BayPoint Club in Sandwich and finishing off at Viking Café. The event cost is £1 per person and children must be accompanied by an adult. Good luck to those taking part!
